Yes, But the Compact does display Jamming on the Display when it thinks its being jammed.

Jam / ECM Attempt Indication:
The DragonEye Compact Speed LIDARTM contains sophisticated counter measures to defeat LIDAR “Jamming” devices available in the consumer market place, while continuing to display accurate speed readings. The system also indicates when a jammer or other Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) is detected on the target vehicle by displaying the phrase “Jam ECM” on the side display and flashing the “” symbol in the HUD.

So does this mean the compact displays error codes while alp is jamming it?

The compact displays error codes even when it's not being jammed, but to answer your question at least one of the firmware versions does show a jam detection at sub 100 ft.

Well that's fair it's not that likely you would need to jam at less than that anyway
