True there is a NOTE in the Manual:

"Note that extremely bright surfaces on the target vehicle, such as high beam headlights or sun reflections can cause the jam indicators to turn on. If you experience any difficulty locking in a speed reading when “Jam” is indicated, try moving the HUD aiming point to another location on the vehicle."

You won't be sorry this is by FAR the best system on the market and with what ALP has in store there is even more to come.

    SWEET!

Not only did they jam the "impossible to jam" lidar, they did it without even throwing any jam codes (except one at really close range)!

I need to start saving up for an ALP. Probably not right away since I'm piss poor right now and there's none of these weasel guns where I am right now yet, though I do occasionally (once every couple years) travel through/in states that have them. For now my LI will have to do. But in the future, definitely.
If I passed you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

Six months ago I read everything I could get my hands on when deciding on a "parking sensor". I really felt like I was going out on a limb as an early adopter of the ALP. Very little testing and a couple hundred bucks more. But I kept thinking to myself, "If you don't go with these new cutting edge jammers, you will regret it less than a year from now."

Now I can safely say, "I HAVE ZERO REGRETS"!

Thanks to EVERYONE that has made this possible: ALP developers, Tom - One of the most pleasant people on earth and to Mirage and RALETC for the testing and outstanding videos!

+1 - my thoughts exactly, difficult being an early adopter especially after being burned being an early adopter of the HP-905 and then finding out about the Poliscan issue

AL has always had a good record with users in AU for previous units, so I thought it would be worth a punt, and I'm very happy that I did !

And thanks for being an "early adopter"..........you've helped encourage everyone who was involved in bringing this to fruition

Raletc will be holding and attending other jammer testing meets. We will bring the LIDARs that all of you fear. Attendees will get the opportunity to shoot these LIDARs themselves at cars equipped with Blinders, LIs, Escort pro and ALPs. They will see for themselves the strengths and weaknesses of the various jammers.

Who wants a RALETC jammer meet?

Maybe you guys could come to the Can-Am meet this Spring. Damn, I just had my quad LI's put on my vehicle. Now I have to rip them out and outfit my vehicle with an ALP Quad. How much do you guys figure an LI Quad will sell for on E-bay? I would like to make some money back after switching everything out. Have a feeling that the price of a used LI system is about to plummet.

You better get it up on eBay before people see this and future videos. Just saying. You won't be sorry if you switch you'll be surprised by the quality and the performance of the ALP and believe me I've had EVERY brand out there.
