BRD, does this change mean we can switch between laser defense mode and parking sensor mode just by double clicking the menu button?

You can do that now with a single click of the menu button, if you have "Force parking only" set in the settings for menu quick press.
The profiles will let you do more with a double click, such as changing LID time or switch to/from unlimited, switch from LID to DLI or PDC, change radar settings/segmentation if you have a radar antenna connected, etc.
That does raise the question however, are there any settings that aren't part of the 3 profiles? Can LED settings (flash, dim, or dark) be set on a per-profile basis too? Normally I run my remote LED dark, but when running Unlimited I have it flashing so I know when I'm in unlimited. Can that be done with the profiles?
Something that would be nice to have (if they aren't implementing it already) is a copy button on the website to copy one profile to another, so that settings you want to be the same across all the profiles (such as volume or LED brightness) don't have to be set separately on all the profiles.
