Anyway Perspex transmits up to 92% of visible light... so it is transparent.
Perspex "inhibits"(blocks) visible light & transmits ~89% of IR. There is ~11% pass-thru IR "loss".
This is why it is good to hide Sensors behind it.
The plastic lens on Sensors is also Perspex !
