    If possible, take it back to the installer and have them fix it. You paid them for the install, they should make sure it works before they give the car back to you.

    I looked at the ground it looks like the installer connected the grounding wire to the ground used for my hardwired valentine one. Could this cause any issues. I'll be checking for power once I find my multimeter.

    Using the ground for your V1 should not be the issue. I use the same ground for 3 devices with no issues.
