    Mission done , 4.3.6 and 3.2 , checked by the stats .

    Résumé of the steps :

    Go to : http://www.alpupdate.com/

1)go to '' Firmware upgrade'' , write your serial number @ Control Box update
press enter , do your math , press download , save to pc , file is = u\serial\.bin , go to next step

    2) go to ''Control Set update'' , download to pc , save resulting file to pc = UCSET.bin

Take those 2 files and copy them on your usb key.
Go to your system , start it , place the key and wait , it will cycle for less than a minute ,
when all is done it will come back to flashing blue .
I did close and open again the system , tough the 2 files were already installed .

Please correct me if i skip something , when you have done this a few times ,
the routine is very fast .

When the stat file is pulled you should read 4.3.6 and 3.2 on your sreen.

By default no you can not downgrade. Can it be done if really needed with distributor assistance yes but there should never be a reason to go backwards. All Software released is already Beta tested by the distributors for 1-2 weeks before public release to make sure there are no issues.

So I presume for those of us who switch between the BT module and control set, the control set has to be connected to update UCSET.bin? Rather, does the control set firmware actually live on the little controller, or does it live on the ALP control box itself?

Yes, The control set would need to be connected to also update the Control Set. The firmware is installed directly onto the Controller.

The firmware file will get deleted automatically after the install and you will only be left with the Control Set firmware & Setup File if you are loading all three. After reboot just turn off and back on and within a few seconds you are done.

Got mine updated. Bring on the DALA!

P.S. The software you run on this site really pisses me off! I use a vpn for the sole purpose of staying off the grid but this site (the only one I have ever encountered that blocks the vpn btw) will not let me on the site. Apparently it blocks everybody on the choopa network. I seriously doubt it would stop somebody from hacking or implementing a botnet against the site if they know what they are doing.

You have no idea how many attacks we block daily from these networks. Last check we blocked almost 300,000 fake registration attempts alone and that is not to mention all the other types of attacks we get. If the network is blocked its because we were attacked through it.
