Do you think there would be interest in an AL Branded version that would go on during Poliscan and and other Laser Camera alerts?
Just thinking of ways that the ALP can be further improved. Thoughts?
I think it would be a nice addition. Unless Veil G5 works and then it won't be needed.
how do those light steips differ from the nophoto? not familiar with either just curious.
These are just simple IR LED strips that you wire up, and they flood your plate with bright IR light which blocks cameras such as ALPR that read in IR light, or use an IR flash.Quote:

I have been wondering about something that would incorporate into the headlights. Maybe a special light bulb that emits in 904nm along with the normal visible light, on all the time. A flood type not a tight beam.
Would this help to reduce range of lidar guns due to the loss of detectable reflections from the headlights when targeted? Kind of like flashing a light at another light, you can't really tell.

Interestingly enough, I was recently looking into this. LEDs appear to have a long life expectancy. Would it not be feasible (and cheaper) to run them constant on?
Many police cruisers run with cams on that use IR. It would probably cause more harm than good running something like this all the time.Quote:

AntiLaser is a laser defense company. I was thinking of this not as a camera protector... If you are concerned with cameras there are products like 'No Photo' or many plate covers and even maybe Veil G5. I was thinking for just an added layer or protection from difficult devices like the Poliscan. AL's sensitivity is really good and in every video Winterbrew has posted the ALP always went off with warning but if while its going off if it can also block your plate to prevent a photo its just that an extra level of protection and would not be obvious because its only going off during these real hits.Quote:

If Antilaser did make a competitive product against the NoPhoto, that sync'd with ALP system, I bet it would be very popular :)
