RALETC Presents: ALP vs DragonEye Compact - PART 2

It's OFFICIAL the dragon has been slayed.

The DragonEye Compact came out in 2012 and was said to be unjammable. It was said to have a random pulse rate and some even said it did not conform to IACP rules. The AntiLaser Priority is the only laser system in the world to detect and jam modern laser speed measurement devices such as the DragonEye Compact. The DragonEye Compact is currently being distributed in the USA, Canada, and is being introduced in Australia. It's advance method of laser speed measurement caused many headaches to other jammer manufacturers. Companies who have been long present in the US market with products having the sole purpose of defending against laser speed measurements had NO success in providing protection against these new lidar guns, leaving their customers unprotected. When others failed, the AL Priority team accomplished in less than 6 months. The version you are about to watch is based on a beta release of the firmware. That's right BETA. The final version I have been told will be released in approximately two weeks. This is a new ERA in laser counter measures and I'm happy to have been a part of it.

So to appease the naysayers here is yet another video of the ALP jamming the compact. RadarRob is the shooter and he is trying to hold a video camera behind the
DragonEye and record at the same time. Oh did I mention it's 30 degrees when they are recording the video. Now that's dedication to the community right there! This is
a more traditional test with Center Mass, Driver Side, and Passenger Side Testing.

Yes, But the Compact does display Jamming on the Display when it thinks its being jammed.

The DragonEye Compact Speed LIDARTM contains sophisticated counter measures to defeat LIDAR “Jamming” devices available in the consumer market place, while continuing to display accurate speed readings. The system also indicates when a jammer or other Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) is detected on the target vehicle by displaying the phrase “Jam ECM” on the side display and flashing the “” symbol in the HUD.

In the first run you will see 3 hash marks in the upper left corner on the HUD. This is the jam detection. It only happens at close range and only on one of the versions of the Compact that we tested.

Awesome work by RALETC, BRD & the whole ALP crew! It is amazing what the laser and radar detector community can achieve when it is not fighting, arguing, stealth banning and spreading pure lies about each other. I am proud to be a member of this test group. We are drama free with the same goal. Let’s keep focusing on things we enjoy doing, like slaying dragons.

I was not short changing RALETC as I know it was a team effort.. I was mentioning all the time you spent on putting the Presentation together. You did a fantastic job.

It should be noted that we have tested several Compacts with different firmwares. The ALP not only jammed one but it Jammed everyone of them. We cant get into more details but we feel very confident that there will not be much they could do going forward.

DragonEye is constantly changing things to try and keep the jammer companies guessing. This is why LI is in so much trouble right now. They have missed too many versions of the DALA to be effective. The video will be made public at some point, but rest assured AL is NOT concerned about DragonEye. They have something else up their sleeve.

So does this mean the compact displays error codes while alp is jamming it?

The compact shows jam codes when shooting cars with xenon and LED headlights.

The compact displays error codes even when it's not being jammed, but to answer your question at least one of the firmware versions does show a jam detection at sub 100 ft.

True there is a NOTE in the Manual:

"Note that extremely bright surfaces on the target vehicle, such as high beam headlights or sun reflections can cause the jam indicators to turn on. If you experience any difficulty locking in a speed reading when “Jam” is indicated, try moving the HUD aiming point to another location on the vehicle."

Well that's fair it's not that likely you would need to jam at less than that anyway

SWEET!

Not only did they jam the "impossible to jam" lidar, they did it without even throwing any jam codes (except one at really close range)!

I need to start saving up for an ALP. Probably not right away since I'm piss poor right now and there's none of these weasel guns where I am right now yet, though I do occasionally (once every couple years) travel through/in states that have them. For now my LI will have to do. But in the future, definitely.

You won't be sorry this is by FAR the best system on the market and with what ALP has in store there is even more to come.

Six months ago I read everything I could get my hands on when deciding on a "parking sensor". I really felt like I was going out on a limb as an early adopter of the ALP. Very little testing and a couple hundred bucks more. But I kept thinking to myself, "If you don't go with these new cutting edge jammers, you will regret it less than a year from now."

Now I can safely say, "I HAVE ZERO REGRETS"!
