Hi
I have for a while been getting inconsistent Radar cable not connected error messages though 98% of time, when I go through know K band areas, it alerts.
Now I'm suddenly getting Error2 check cable,or not connected message and constant Error 2 warning non stop.
Is there something I can check eg if I unplug one sensor, reset system amd repeat to see if it is indeed a sensor?
I would assume if this would not work it is highly unlikely a sensor or cable issue and a controller issue, would I be correct in that assumption ?
Or is there something else I can check
Thanks:frusty:

Unplug one sensor at a time until the Error 2 goes away. You'll get a warning about a disconnected sensor, but the system will boot up and work.

Once you figure out which sensor it is, inspect the wiring to make sure it isn't getting rubbed through or pinched somewhere.

I think there is an issue lurking here somewhere...why all of a sudden are so many individuals experiencing possible sensor issues ?..I still get random start up alerts...sometime they go away..the first time I thought I had it narrow to a front middle sensor...then after unplugging it it went away..I did a general reset and plugged it in and all was good until I had to do the same thing with a rear...then all worked for a few days and today I got an error and rebooted 3 time and it went away...something is not adding up here..

Same here from time to time I get a short Error 2 warning. After a couple of seconds it goes away and all back to normal

Error 2 = Sensor Interference

It is normal to get an error 2 a few times a month. If the error is consistent is when we have to start to look at a sensor failing which would be throwing off its own interference. Sun, A Laser Equipped Vehicle, Even being too close to an object during startup can throw off an interference error when the system is testing all the transmitters and receivers during the self check.

Thanks guys
Here is my config below.
I noticed that the unit can't find the firmware and whatever the other information above or below that line is i.e., the thumbwheels keeps turning. Does this mean anything. It won't allow my to reset either and changing heads over in different ports does nothing as well. Would be highly unlikely that both heads wiring or sensors would fail at same time!
I think i need to send controller back for checking
Serial number 2635193
CPU Hardware version 1
Firmware version 5.2.6
Region Australia & Pacific
Power Cycles 4472
Control Set FW version 0.0
Control Set HW version ALPConnect BT
Activated locks not active
Hardware version 1

Is it possible to regress to an earlier f/w ? (curious to see if things straighten out)

edit ..Had to edit this senseless question

Try this... Disconnect one sensor at a time and see when the error stops.
