2.Do you only have 2 AL-P Sensors & both are installed on the Rear of your car ?
    I'm French native speaker.

    1) I use the optional ALP speaker. The 'music' at the start of the ALP is a kind of 'beep beep beep' as a U-boat submarine. I hear it at start if there is no error (with the front CPU and the 2 rear sensors).
    2) I have a CPU for front (2 sensors) and the faulty rear CPU for the rear (2 other sensors). I have tested the 2 rears sensors with the front CPU as reported.

Ok, now I understand that you have 2 separate ALP systems, each with 2 Sensors.
In the beginning, the Front system was ok...correct ?

It was only the Rear system that was bad...correct ?

Do you want to start over by putting everything back to its original condition.- This way we can try to solve the problem you are having on the Rear.
You should not be getting U-boat "ping" sounds...make sure there are no objects close to the Rear Sensors & turn OFF power to the Front system.

Can I ask why you are using 2 CPU'S instead of one CPU with the 4 sensors attached?

Before looking at an Escort Radar Detector you should really check out Uniden Detectors.. Uniden R1 & R3 are the best performing radar detectors for the money.

I thought the same thing Tom, but didn't want to confuse things anymore than they already are.
Just want to solve his problem first !

The front system works well with the front sensors. When connected to the rear sensors, no error message but only one sensor works as parking sensors. But both detect my laser tester. I have the same results when I reverse the 2 rounds plugs of the cables.

The back system works wrong: error message in any positions of the sensors. In one position, I get R2, F2, R1 are not OK (only R1, R2 are connected). When I reverse the cables, I get R2, F2 are not OK (only R1, R2 are connected).

All systems are in position. The back system doesn't work as just explained above.

I have 1 CPU + 2 sensors and another CPU + 2 sensors. I didn't try to connect the 4 sensors to the same CPU. Probably the cables are too short.

This does not make sense...when you swap cables, where are you doing it ? At the RJ Ports or the Twist connector near the Sensors ?

You should not be getting an F2 error unless you made a mistake at the RJ Port & plugged into the F2 Port.

If you have these errors I'm starting to think you have inter-mixed the Front/Rear cables w/ each other & in combination of also having a bad Sensor this could be the only reason Port F2 is appearing as an error in both conditions.

Here I've swapped step by step the twist connectors, tested again. Never something was plugged in the F2 port, never.
