Anyone observe this behavior? Convinced it may be a quirk in my stereo system in my car, but if others experience this problem, it might not be.
Check Connect Settings and use the Duck Settings so that instead of pausing the audio it will just duck it and keep it playing.

The issue is that it causes all music applications (Pandora, Spotify, etc.) to pause when ALPConnect is opened initially. You then have to switch to the app that paused and start playing again. Once it starts playing again, the music plays fine with ALPConnect audio on top as required. Guessing this is a "feature" so you hear the connection sounds of ALPConnect, or it may just be how the APIs for audio work on the iPhone.

Just a minor annoyance since the play/pause button in my car doesn't get the music playing again, switching to the music app via the screen is required, then normal behavior is restored.
