Error "F1 Sensor" -- Which Sensor is This?

I have 3 front and 2 rear sensors on my BMW M6. I have had the warning F1 sensors is not functioning when I start up the car for a while now. I am having the front bumper pulled this coming week so it's a perfect time to swap out the bad sensor with a new sensor. I have the new sensor in hand. My question is what sensor would F1 be? Is this front driver side or front passenger side? I am sure there is a logic to where F1, F2, F3 is located but I just don't know where F1 is. Any help would be super appreciated!

You should have labled the sensors as you installed them

Easiest way is do you have the parking sensors enabled as to when you pull close to something it will beep, then disconnect F2/3 then you go put your hand in front of them and see which one beeps for you, that will be yout F1 sensor---this function should still be working

Also make sure when you hook them all back up the your CENTER head is hooked into the F2 port--this is a must

With the ALP powered on and not muted, put your hand up to each front sensor to see if it causes the ALP to beep. The sensor that doesn't cause beeps is the one that's failed (and presumably, plugged into the F1 port on the CPU).

If all 3 sensors in front cause beeps, check the rears just in case you have them mixed up. If all 5 sensors cause beeps, disconnect the sensor from the F1 port on the CPU and repeat the test. The sensor that no longer causes beeps is the one on F1.

If none cause beeps, make sure it's not muted and you didn't disable parking sensors in the configuration.
