    Son of a gun! Until radargeek mentioned that the startup beeps may stand for AL, and you wrote the Morse Code for AL, I thought the beeps were just that...random beeps. But, after I listened to rxbg's startup video, well, son of a gun! It is the Morse Code for AL! I had to learn Morse Code in the Navy, back in 1969. I have had my ALP systems configured for Silent Power-up since shortly after they were installed, so I only heard the startup beeps a couple of times, and never recognized that the beeps were Morse Code.
