What Happens When the ALP Control Box LED is set to "1" ???

When the ALP system is configured in DIM, and either CONSTANT or BLINKING, I know that if the ALP system's External LED is set to "1", the External LED is "OFF" after the initial startup sequence, until the system detects LIDAR, then the External LED illuminates at full intensity to alert the driver. That is the setting I have on my two ALP systems

However, I do not know what takes place if the Control Box LED is set to "1". If set to "2 - 9" the Control Box LED illuminates according to the number selected: "2" = dim, "9" = brightest. I have my ALP systems set to "2" at this time. If the Control Box LED is set to "1", is the Control Box LED illuminated at its dimmest brightness, or is the Control Box LED "OFF" after the initial startup sequence, until the system detects LIDAR, then the Control Box LED illuminates at full intensity to alert the driver ?

    Thanks !

1 is dark on the external LED. 1 is the dimmest on the control set LED.

To make the control set LED dark, you have to select dark mode = Dark instead of Dark mode = Dim.

Let me answer my own question. I recently performed a test for myself and another ALP owner. After reconfiguring the LED settings in the Profiles, I found the following:

Under Dark Mode, I selected DIM. Under Status LED I selected CONSTANT (Flashing should provide the same result)

I selected intensity setting "1" for both the Control Set LED Brightness, and the External LED Brightness. Both LEDs went OFF after the initial power-up sequence. Both LEDs illuminated at Full Intensity when LIDAR was detected.

I selected intensity setting "2" for both the Control Set LED Brightness , and the External LED Brightness. Both LEDs illuminated at a very low brightness after the initial power-up sequence. Both LEDs illuminated at Full Intensity when LIDAR was detected.
