Got a Dragon hit today in Sherwood Park

    For you local guys..
I see our local dog catchers (Sheriff or Peace Officer) here in Sherwood Park are now equipped with the dreaded Dragon..got a hit today. This was a speed trap and not a laser photo...funny as my new unit just arrived for my daughters new Rav4...I only ordered 2 heads for the rear (plenty of photo laser in Edmonton) but now i guess fronts are also inevitable

^ - Be extra careful for her, if it's a newly bought Dragon Lidar for Sherwood PD, it's likely one that will require 3 Sensors to neutralize.

Possibly in some cases, but I don't want to Post how in Public.
Send me a PM on what you see(Lidar names) or heard(HiFi audio) from that hit.

For the install, your only option appears to be the valence area above the Plate area. Those low (red n' white) "backup" lights are a looong way away from the Plate area...sub 500-600ft shots might be IPT even w/ 3 Sensors.

Without breaking secrecy , can you say why it is so ? The very tight focus of the beam or the algorythm ?

Can we expect the others manufacturer to follow the trend ...so that in few years we will need 4/4 , exponentially 5/5

In that case I'd be more concerned !
If it happens to be a "new" purchase that Sherwood just bought, it could be a 3 Sensor Lidar. If they've had it for sometime & it just happened to be your 1st encounter of it...there's a chance it might be just a 2 Sensor Lidar.
In this encounter of yours, there is no way to determine which one it is that you ran into.

    No, I cannot say.
It is NOT related to IR beam, it IS related to the f/w.
