    Add-A-Fuse Install Question

Forgive the novice question, I'm not terribly experienced in wiring and electronics.

I'm planning to get power from the fusebox in my Macan by adding a traditional "add-a-fuse", but I'm not sure what ampage I should add to account for the ALP. I know the manual says there is a 2amp preinstalled, would that simply mean I should use a 2amp fuse to properly power it and protect against any type of overload/surge damage?

    Thanks

    Zach

Max draw is 1500mA when heads are firing so a 2 amp fuse will be sufficient as stated above
