Not able to save to USB

I tried to save to USB with my ALP APP Android and I got a MSG write failed? The drive is formatted to FAT32 and nothing on it. Any ideas?

Drive needs to be a USB 2.0 Drive.. Try a different drive.

Before looking at an Escort Radar Detector you should really check out Uniden Detectors.. Uniden R1 & R3 are the best performing radar detectors for the money.

So I'm trying to check my settings and when I try to follow the directions which say to long press the menu button and then press next which is the same button 8 times and then press enter. Well when I press the next button 8 times it starts beeping before I can press the enter button and downloads nothing to my USB drive. What am I doing wrong?

I'm frustrated because I have done this several times before but I don't need to go into for many months and it feels like I need a class every time I try to do something simple.

What controller are you using? And what firmware version do you have loaded? Option 8 is only available on the latest firmware. Prior it was option 7 and then 2x, 2x, 2x.

My bet is you are not on the latest firmware.

That does not answer any of my questions... Is it the standard or HiFi and what firmware version is loaded on your unit. When did you last update it?

Tom, Thanks for your help. The link you posted are the instructions I remember using before. I was not aware that it was updated and changed. i also did not realize the old instructions were removed. I have an ALP and radar system in all 3 of my cars but I don't access this system on a regular basis so I don't remember which firmware # it is. I'll have to look it up. I will have to spend time reading this forum and updating my systems

Unfortunately I have a lot of things going such as running a business like you, so I'll try to update all of them this weekend. I'll be in touch. Thanks again.
