Like most of us more advanced ALP users, you probably keep a few USB drives with different setups on them: one LID one with a timeout, one with unlimited for testing, one for parking only, etc.
Here's a handy tip: Set the LED mode differently for each setup. For example, if you normally run the external LED (or control set LED) dim, dark, or steady (not flashing), set the LED to bright and flashing for your Unlimited setup file.
This way if you switch to Unlimited for testing, you'll know, and you'll be reminded by the bright flashing LED that you're in unlimited and to switch back when you're finished testing.
If you normally run your LED dark, and have a parking-only setup for "emergencies", set the LED to on or flashing for this as well, so that you'll have a visible reminder that you're unprotected.
