I get asked this question daily and I thought the description we had was clear but I will clarify this for new customers looking for information.
You can not integrate any Beltronics or Escort radar detector with the AL Priority at this time. The RG (Radar & GPS) Module that we sell is only to integrate several 3rd party radar antennas to the ALP. The key word is antenna (Not Radar Detector), The AL Priority can be connected directly to the Antenna from the Beltronics Sti-R Plus using the RG Module and it will look something like this:
The only part being used from the Beltronics Sti-R Plus is the Radar Receiver, No other part of a Full Beltronics Sti-R Plus can be used. We sell the antenna receivers separately.
You will get full radar alerts into the ALP and it works well but you will not get the full features of the full Sti-R Plus. What you lose in this integration is the Auto Learn capability which can ignore marked false alert locations and you also lose the Red Light & fixed speed camera database. If you are not using the HiFi or ALP Connect you also will not have radar voice alerts.
