The women taking my information stopped glared at the computer screen and said to me that she had never seen this before and had to call a manager. When the manger arrived ,and after looking at the computer screen she asked me what was in the box.

I replied a electronic device. She then insisted what type of device. At this point I asked what was on the computer screen. She would not tell me. I told her it was a gps for warranty repair .

she was not satisfied and asked to see it. I refused and showed her the email from escort with my return number and where it said return for repair. This seemed to satisfy her and she made a few notes on the computer. Then she asked me for my D. L. I was in disbelief and replied I don't drive. She looked at me like I was full of shi+ and made a very short input into the computer then fixed the label to my package provided me my tracking number and sent my package on its way.

Sure seems strange to me. I Have sent my RD off many times and never experienced anything like this before.
But then again this is Ontario. It would not surprise me if our wonderful Ontario government wants to track RD ownership.
It wouldn't surprise me if the Corrupt POS Lieberal Gov't of Onterrible started doing this. Under the law, you are not required to show your DL to anyone OTHER THAN A POLICE OFFICER. If they refuse to ship the package without photo ID, tell them you're going home to get your Passport and will show it to them when you return.

Having said that, I've sent my STi-R Plus antenna twice, and my old STi Driver, once to Escort in the past without this BS happening. Hope this is not the new norm going forward. I would call Escort to make sure they got your Magnum and tell them what happened at the Post Office to make sure the Magnum won't be confiscated on the return to your house. Good luck!
