AfterALp Firmware Update- system takes long time to go into defense mode.

So using two different USBs for the latest update, it seems that my unit is just not taking the update. I downloaded the update file and a configuration file. Plug in the USB, turn the car on, and the unit powers on as normal without any fast flashing lights or beeps indicating an update is in progress. Anyone else having issues?

Have not tried on my second car yet because I wanted to see what experience others were having. Thanks.

Make sure you are using the correct serial number. If you use the wrong serial number the firmware will not update. Also check your file names and make sure they are correct and not being renamed by your computer.
