I am retiring from the hobby

Being married and having wonderful children that I enjoy spending my time with is a blessing. Here, I thought as my children grew older I would have more free time. As it turns out, the older they have gotten, they need my time even more. Gone are the days where they would nap for hours (I would go to the gym then), and gone are the days of early bed times. The weekends, I generally leave the house at 9AM with one or more of my kids and don't get home until dinner time on a short day. I wouldn't change my life or the decisions I have made. I am a fortunate man.

That really sums it up and could not be more from the Truth. I find myself in the same situations where I have no spare time and I fully understand your feelings. I miss when my kids were little and now me and my wife we are running non stop from one thing to the next. Between who is driving one to Gymnastics, another one to Football or another one to Baseball or any of the other activities the kids are involved with we seem to be going non stop until 10PM in the evenings.
