I just checked with a garbage bag , which looks black but it is very dark green , IR is stopped by 99% (not the one in the vid).

I found , thanks my wife , a true black bag.

Here the result , i would never use it over my sensors !

The picture on right-side does not look like "Near"-InfraRed(N.I.R.), it looks more like "Far"-InfraRed taken w/ a F.L.I.R. camera.

I see. I haven't realized that the Perspex (also called Plexiglas, Acrylite, Lucite, acrylic glass, glass/plastic laminate, Poly(methyl methacrylate)) is so good to hide jammers. If I had known that I would have hidden my jammers behind this.
Anyway Perspex transmits up to 92% of visible light... so it is transparent.

Perspex "inhibits"(blocks) visible light & transmits ~89% of IR. There is ~11% pass-thru IR "loss".
This is why it is good to hide Sensors behind it.
The plastic lens on Sensors is also Perspex !

Actually, I am not sure what other vendors use but AL does not use Perspex.

Ok, it certainly has a very similar 'deep dark' redish-purple color to it when exposed to white light just as Perspex does. Matters little which Mfg. product AL uses, as long as it has IRT properties that meets their Spec's !

I know there is an Irt ink made by a company in Japan , i emailed them but never recieved a response.

Here is a Li head behind perspex , the sensor was tilted , without issue...it saved me from one leo's scrutiny ...he never noticed it after 5 minures check
