I see. I haven't realized that the Perspex (also called Plexiglas, Acrylite, Lucite, acrylic glass, glass/plastic laminate, Poly(methyl methacrylate)) is so good to hide jammers. If I had known that I would have hidden my jammers behind this.
Anyway Perspex transmits up to 92% of visible light... so it is transparent.

Perspex "inhibits"(blocks) visible light & transmits ~89% of IR. There is ~11% pass-thru IR "loss".
This is why it is good to hide Sensors behind it.
The plastic lens on Sensors is also Perspex !

Ok, it certainly has a very similar 'deep dark' redish-purple color to it when exposed to white light just as Perspex does. Matters little which Mfg. product AL uses, as long as it has IRT properties that meets their Spec's !
