    Smile Hello from Vienna

    Hello to all members.
I come from Serbia but live and work in Vienna, Austria.
At start before 10 years have used cobra but at that time
In my country was not to many device's to use or to buy ,after some time have tried other detectors and now use Stinger Vip and Al priority
As a backup at home sleep redline if needed. I'm glad to be part of the forum here can always learn something new and if needed
And you can , can help somebody.
    Cheers

Hi , yes i tried few good and expensive detectors and settled down with this combo.
Vip performing wery good against ka-band here in Austria, Hungary detection distance is more than enough .In Serbia is no
need for vip because there is few cams in Belgrade and rest is all done with laser guns .
ALP is indeed made in Croatia and thei make them wery good .
My alp saved me few times on highway here was road works
and on both sides are traffic observer mounted worked well
one time on highway in Hungary at 1:00 am i got speed measure alp pops up immediately.
In Slovak is mrcd in use and there vip make good work 400-500 meters detect it .

    Hello
What I know - in Austria radar detectors and jammers are prohibited. High fines and whats-more it will result in the confiscation of the device.
On the other hand - in Hungary it is allowed.

Are you afraid of it ? To be honest when I am traveling abroad (especially to Austria) I am taking my second car without equipment...

Yes ,that is correct here is prohibited, but with hidden install,
and with alp set on 3 sec you will be fine. I'm not speed chaser
on highway is 130km/h allowed, i drive 150-170 for me is that shield time enough .
If you drive too fast that will everyone notice and no detector or jammer will help you.
Of course risk is always in such cases present , here is better to go with hidden install
I had more risk to get caught when i used redline, these days believe me people know diference
Between navi device and something other
    Cheers
