ALP Parking mode vs defense mode

Hey guys, I just got my ALP system installed and had a quick question. I think I have the unit in defense mode (blue car on the app and blue flashing LED). I don't think the unit is performing as parking sensors while I'm in defense mode. How do I have the unit perform both functions? Also, is there a way to switch what mode the unit is in from the menu?

    Thanks
    JM

Unit is always in Parking even in Defense unless you turned off the setting off on the sensors in the setup file you loaded.

Depends what you're in front of too. On the default setting sometimes mine will start beeping 9 feet back from a shiny vehicle, sometimes I get less than a foot when I'm in my parkade at work against concrete walls.

Chrome on a car in front will definitely reflect more and would make them more sensitive. I would not put the sensitivity on more than 3 or 4.
