Hello from SE FL

I've just had an ALP installed and while I've been using Radar detectors for almost as long as they've been available, I'm totally new to Laser devices and have a lot to learn. I've already been helped by many of you in this forum and I'm certainly much obliged and grateful to benefit from your collective knowledge and experience. I'm running a Valentine 1 integrated with a quad ALP setup on my 435i using the ALP Connect app on an iPhone. The install was done by Elite Audio in Jensen Beach FL - a shop I have a lot of experience with particularly with audio and hardwired radar. I soon realized after getting the BMW that I would likely be exceeding the PSL pretty frequently so I went to the owner of Elite (Robert) to ask about "protection options" and he introduced the idea of LI. When I saw the cost to get a quality set up I gulped hard and went home and started doing some research. That's when I found this forum. After much reading I determined that ALP was what I needed/wanted. I called Robert to discuss and to make a long story short, he's now an ALP dealer/installer. I'm totally happy with the install and I'll post some pix as soon as I get the chance. Fortunately or unfortunately I've yet to get a chance to see the ALP do its stuff with laser so can't comment yet on my experience. Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning more and contributing where I can.

***** - 5 stars for your homework by choosing the best Parking Sensor system available to protect your 435i, there's another member on the Forum who has one,too. BTW, thanks for getting Elite Audio up to speed w/ AntiLaser system to better protect his Customers.
