    Hello from Overland Park, Kansas

Starting to look for a new Radar and step up to Laser defuser, I currently run with a Escort Max and NO defuser. I am also looking for some referrals for a good place to have the install done in the DFW area (as close to Keller as possible).

Welcome. ALP's are the only logical choice for a new install for LIDAR defense. RD's are more a matter of where/how you drive and what matters most to you.

    Welcome to RALF.
Installs are not that hard to do by yourself, even for the 1st time.

I was thinking about the K40, primarily because it will let you know where it is getting hit with Radar. My preference would be the Bel STIR+ with the ALP.

Many here would consider the K40 to be only an average (if not mediocre) performer from Tests done on it.
