ALP Sensor Placement and Other Questions for Tesla Model S

Hi All,

FRONT:

I tested a Black P85D several weeks ago. He had a Dual install in the extreme lower air intake vents(?) w/ the 2 Silver louvers on each side. The spacing between the 2 Sensors was to w-i-d-e at ~28". He did ok against some of the Lidar guns, but others tore him apart. Best performance is had if the distance is within an 18-22" spacing.

What general area (of the Country) do you drive in & do you know what LEOs use for Laser gun enforcement ?

I live around Dallas / Ft. Worth and I haven't seen any laser inside the Metroplex. I do see it fairly often in the communities south and on the way to Houston and Austin, but I have no idea what system they use.

You're welcome.
I do know around the DFW area & all of the Lone Star State so far, there are none of the really dangerous Lidar guns. A well done install of the AL-P will protect you just fine.
