Been long time radar detector user from the ending days of Fuzzbuster, to when they switched from X to K band, thus was one of the first purchasers of the
Cincinatti Microwave Escort device, around 1978
I've had a number of police friends over the years, and they'd be happy to show me their equipment, from the early x band units where the needle would show the speed,
and it locked the reading by smashing the plastic cover down over the needle. Then they added in SpeedGun xband moving radar, then onto Kustom Signals K band,
onto Kuston Lidar (that was neat to use... cars were 1700 feet away and being clocked, I couldn't even see the car) and now onto Stalker units.
Reason for the post is to sell my Stalker ATR unit, it is now surplus to my needs. See post in for sale section (once I can post there)
