I sold my C6 Corvette recently and have always wanted a 997 GT3. Unfortunately the 997 GT3's have risen in value over the past few years but I luckily found a great deal. I live in San Francisco and there are cops all over the place where we typically go cruising and I need to man up and fully protect myself. Its not cheap going this route but its going to be a lot more expensive if I get busted for speeding.

After reading through some of the posts, getting hit with a laser in the rear is very uncommon. Additionally the 9500CI sensor is front mounted correct, so there isn't any side/rear protection.

I think it depends on your state but generally it seems like these guys don't take er in the rear much unless you're from OZ or Canada.

Yes 9500ci is forward facing. It will pick up rear but not very well. For rear detection only the V1 and Stinger ($5000 lol) have rear horns....UNLESS, you do a full StiR Plus/9500CI forward facing and on top of that integrate another rear head into the ALP for M3 horns front/rear.
