Does firmware upgrade nuke my original settings?

I updated my ALP firmware a few weeks ago. The upgrade went fine, but I am unclear if my jammers are now on a (default) timeout jam mode. My original settings were unlimited, as I want to be able to kill them manually at all times. When I upgraded the firmware, it was just the one file from the firmware download link.
    Go ahead, make my day.

Depends on the update. You should keep a settings file on the same drive that you use to update the firmware so that the settings file will reload after the update.
