    Hello from South Carolina

    Hi all,

I am a new member from South Carolina. I used a Beltronics STI Driver in the past when I lived in VA. I have recently used a Valentine V1 then went remote with an Escort 9500CI with ZR4 shifters. I will be moving on to the Beltronics STI-R Plus with AL Priority Quad. Can't wait to install everything this upcoming week in my 2013 Nissan GT-R. I am hoping I will be able to contribute to this community and become an active member. Thanks!

    Regards,

    Zen

No need to change to the STI-R+ since the 9500ci got the BSRDR update, just sell off the ZR4's or set them in receive only and hook up those ALPs and you'll be good to go.

The 9500CI was actually on my older GT-R. Sold off the setup and car. Starting fresh on another one

9500ci is technically better, with the wire bonded LNA vs the packaged. Up to you though

Hmm, good to know. Would you say that having a wire bonded LNA provides that much more of a performance boost or would real world results ultimately be negligible given similar environments?

I was really on the fence between the two. I think it eventually came down to the convenience factor not having to sell off the packaged heads plus saving a little extra cash to put towards the ALPs sooner than later.

There isn't enough testing to say definitively, but the 9500ci IS better, don't know how negligible it is. You can usually pick up an older one off ebay for cheaper than a new STI-R+.

Like here for example, 9500ci with ZR4's, buy it at $750-ish and it'd still be cheaper than the STI-R+

Welcome to the forum. I see you mention you will be installing everything this upcoming week, Have you already purchased the Sti-R Plus & ALP? We do offer packages if this is the route you are going and you did not already purchase the Plus.
