    Hi from Vancouver B.C.

Hi folks. I've been using an RD almost since got my license; back before superheterodyne detectors were invented. Amazing how much the game of cops and speeders has changed.

Welcome to the forum! I am from AB but in the US temporarily for work.

Are you thinking of getting some active laser counter measures? Then you can disable the laser detection on your V1. :-)

Yes hussein, I'm reading up on ALPs and thinking of a dual setup. I have an Infiniti G37 and am unsure how the interior components will integrate into my car. I want a tidy install and don't want to cut holes etc. I'm looking for interior pics from other installs but haven't found anything so far.

    Welcome to the Forum, V1Jockey.
Yeah, I also remember the old almost passive RDs back then. The old X-band radars put out a lot of power on 10.5GHz.

Yea I miss the old X band. My original Escort (it was huge) could pick up even moving X band more than a minute away on some terrain. Those kind of detection events are rare now I'm sad to say.
