If you have checked the ALP Setup Website - http://www.alpupdate.com you might have noticed some changes and that have been done in preparation for the next update being released shortly.
What is new on the setup page:
1. If you are utilizing the Radar Integration you can now set separate volume levels for your Radar Threats and your Laser Threats
2. You may define how your MENU button on your Control Set will behave if you short-press it. By default it will switch on the Fog lights in case you have special fog-light sensors. If you select Force PDC Only, your MENU button will when you short press it switch you to Parking only mode. You can recognize you are in parking only mode if LED is blinking green in normal mode, when no obstacle or interference is being detected.
3. After Laser interference Defense has been activated for defined LID time, system will normally go into a Warm up for 60 seconds time. If “DLI & Warm up” is chosen then the system will now continue to alert as long as the detected source is still present, and when no longer present it will switch to 60 seconds warm up. This will allow everyone who is targeted and kills the system before the Gun ID to allow the ALP to immediately briefly go into detection mode so that the Gun ID's are played before going into the 60 second warm up mode.
4. In the Radar Integration Option you will now see a Valentine 1 Option. We are in the beginning stages of adding Valentine 1 integration and this will progress deeper if we have enough users that will utilize the integration. At the current time this integration will work just like the Beltronics Sti-R Plus integration.
If you click on the Valentine 1 Option you will see the following options:
To keep it familiar at this early stage AL kept with the same familiar Band Segments that Escort uses but they are not true sweeps at this time. They will only have the ALP ignore alerts that are not in the segments selected. At this point unless we get more users who will utilize this integration we will not provide true custom sweeps and have the ALP program those sweeps to the V1. If you want custom sweeps you will need to have your V1 swept directly using V1's app or YaV1 and then connect the V1 to the ALP RG Module.
Please also note that after testing with integration using direct ESP with the original RG Module there had to be changes made to the RG Module to allow it to communicate freely with the V1 via ESP. There is a new RG Module V2 which will be available most likely next week for anyone that wants to utilize the V1 integration.
