Perfect I say, I would go with the 9500CI ant as its is much better than the Sti-R ant head though~~

It has the better LNA set up ( Low noise amplifier) in the 9500 and it detects better on all bands, peeps have tested it here on the forum and agree (I think) its the better head to go with at the moment.

Thanks for the advice. Looking forward to getting ALP shipped here and installed. I have to start getting some ideas on where I'm going to put everything, as far as placement of control box, BT, etc. I also want to make it where its very easily converted over to parking sensor.

Can you use the 9500CI without the shifters and just with the ALP?

    Yes.

You can run a 9500ci without shifters but a 9500CI will not integrate with an ALP, They would operate independent of each other.

If you dont care about GPS Lockouts you can get the Radar Package with the 9500ci Antenna.
