Here is the 9500ix with escort live and I have a holder for my iPhone. So I thought the BT would be the way to go since I've already been using the escort live on my phone.

If you can spend the extra, 2 heads up front and 2 rear are recommended, but i did only put one head on my new Mazda 3 install: http://radarandlaserforum.com/showth...te-CJR-install since i never really get shot in the rear and i did it more for testing purposes. That rear placement tawwwd recommended should do the trick.

My install shop (NY) by me doesn't charge much to install, but it can depend on how you want it installed. I would guess it should cost from $3-500. In my Mazda3 install which is a short car i needed to extend the rear head cable because it was too short so do some measurements.

So I guess I should buy two sensor extension cables for the rear sensors?

I only mention the cable extensions because it was such an issue on my hatchback making custom extensions on the spot. And though my TL is much longer since it has a trunk it shouldn't be as bad. But definitely measure from where the CPU to the rear trunk accounting for hiding the wires and you will have an idea if the cable is long enough. Using a long string will give you a better idea.

There should be a cover above your feet that can be removed and the ALP CPU can be placed there then run the cables back for the rear head. My old ZR4 rear had a very long cable compared to the ALP and so I had no issues. There should also be a grommet above and to the left of the break peddle where the front head wires can be slipped through the fire wall.

I am going to run a dedicated phone for the BT connection, it communicates the information and info better.
    I use: Max with super DNA! 9500CI/ZR4 - LI Dual - RedLine - LIVE - V1 3.872/.893 {1,7,b,E,F,G (l/L)} zr4. I have used: 9500I Blue=x1 upgraded to ix. - 9500I Red=x2 - 8500 x1, 8500X50 Black, SmartRadar, PRO300, old Bel 9??, K40.

Yeah, I'm really tore on what to get now. I guess I could just get the hifi for ALP and use the 9500ix and escort live for GPS and display. Would you suggest a kill switch or does the auto kill (after 4 sec I think?) work pretty good?

Other than the beeping and blinking to communicate from the key pad its not bad alone. I'm holding out in hopes ALP makes the BT and key pad work together at some point. It still jams and communicates well with the key pad only. No need for a kill switch when a press of any button on the key pad kills the jammers.

I assume your are talking about the BT and using AP connect on your phone?

Went ahead and put my order in for the ALP system with 4 sensors, Bluetooth module and 2 extension cables. I may try to sell my 9500ix with EL and get the AL RG module + STi-R plus reciever next.

Nope just the keypad only. I don't actually have the Bluetooth module yet.
