Sometimes the proximity warning beeps are the same as his or even 3-4 ft, but when the object is highly reflective it will give warning beeps at 8-10 ft.

Also the case with mine...theyre set at the default 3 or whatever it is...Sometimes Ill get 12 inches warning in a parkade or sometimes Im behind a vehicle and it gives 6 ft warning.

Yeah... Chrome on the rear will add distance to the parking sensor alerts.
