    You cannot correlate a defined fixed distance warning beep to a specific selection number choice in the PDC table !
    This is b/c you're not actually measuring distance, but rather the relative signal "strength" of the returned IR reflection from an object ahead.

    Case in point:
    My setting is the same as curmudgeon's. Sometimes the proximity warning beeps are the same as his or even 3-4 ft, but when the object is highly reflective it will give warning beeps at 8-10 ft.
