That's what I'm talking about. The signal of a jammer could be even weaker than the signal which is come from Lidar and is reflected from the plate...- performance defense is not dependent on the signal strength "difference" or "equality" of the 2 signals. Even if it were so,remember the Lidar signal has to make 2 trips (out to the target & then return to the Lidar gun,thus making the IR signal weaker in strength... the Parking Sensor has to make only 1 trip to the Lidar gun.

That's why I'm thinking about how to make the front plate less reflective.

Making the LP less reflective does help. "Tilting" the LP forward also helps a little causing some reflections to be directed to the road surface. Some 3M films do cause "diffusion" & scattering of the IR photons which also helps. I use both of these tactics on my LP !
