    Great, thank you for the info on the speaker. Good to know.

    As to the under hood install, I was planning on using a waterproof box, a la the installs that use the BT module. But I was trying to go for reliability by extending the control head. I'm running out of grommet space so this method would eliminate adding in the sensor cables having to be pulled through as well. How long is the standard control head cable? Thanks again.

    If you install the BT module you would not use the Control Module... You cant use both at the same time. You would also want to run the External Power LED light into the dash area but if you are breaking through the firewall at all it would make no sense not to just install the CPU under the dash and do it the right way.
