How to Register your new AL Priority?

The registration link for new AL Priority Systems is the following:

    http://www.alpriority.com/contact/#registration

If you have not done so please register your unit so that we can keep you up to date on when new firmware is released so you can stay current and not miss any new updates.

I have been contacting many customers from even as far back as 2013 that installed their systems and have not updated since. I cant stress how important it is to keep your unit on the latest firmware. As new guns come out and old ones get updated you MUST keep up with your firmware updates to keep protected. By Registering AL can keep you updated on when new firmware is released so you can stay on top of the game and not fall behind and leave yourself vulnerable to changes.

Unfortunately, I think this is probably preaching to the choir. Anyone who hasn't updated the unit since 2013 likely doesn't have an account here. Even those who only have accounts over at RDF probably know to update their units as well.

We link to this page from the ALP Homepage & ALP USA Site and we get many users who lurk here but choose not to become members. I have even some units that were sold a year ago that have not been updated at all. Some might not have installed them yet but some might also be driving around in parking mode so the more I remind people the better it is.

    Tom/BRD,

I have just had a new center-front ALP sensors installed on one of my cars. The ALP Quad system, as well as the 4 sensors, that the new center-front sensor was installed on was registered this past spring. Do I need to register, or should I register, the serial number of the new sensor? If yes, how would I register it?

    Thank you.

Warranty is handled through us. As long as you registered the CPU your warranty is fine and no need to duplicate your registration for the additional sensor.

Tom/BRD, I understand from what you wrote that I do not have to register the serial number of the new ALP sensor that I purchased from, and was installed by, the professional installer. When I did register the full system back on 2/8/2015, the ALP Control Box Serial Number as well as the Serial Numbers for the 4 original sensors were included on the registration form. I guess that if there ever was a problem with the new sensor, my Paid Invoice would be sufficient to show when the new sensor was purchased, for warranty purposes. Is that correct?

    Thank You

If the serial numbers were previously registered it will not accept them. Registering is not required for for warranty, Its only used to email you when updates are available.

Thanks for the quick response. I was not sure how active this forum was anymore. I kind of browse a bit and I saw the post about registering. So am I still able to update anyways?
