I prefer my hi-fi module now to ALPconnect and BT module on iPhone, the only disadvantage being that I don't get to see what radar frequency is being detected from my Sti-R+ ALP integrated head and r/g module.

Now, if the hi-fi module could read out the frequency only within say +/- 100MHz of typical police frequencies of interest, that would be great

I think my preference just comes down to not needing the iPhone to be charged/plugged in, and using the iPhone's internal GPS for the speed reading, consumes battery power quite fast. I have an external ALP GPS antenna, and I understand an update will be incoming, where the external ALP GPS antenna can be selected for the speed reading, rather than using the iPhone internal GPS (also so iPod 5th Gen users can display a speed using the external GPS). That should solve the battery use issue.
