Bubble on the laser heads facing In or Out?

Maybe I don't know how to search or what terms to use but could not find an answer. Looking at some of the ALP install pictures I see that sometimes the bubble on the heads is facing inwards and sometimes it is facing outwards. Does it matter? From what I remeber on LIs, the bubbles had to be on the outside.

Depends on position on car , most times bubbles out but if heads mounted extremely wide then may need to put bubbles in.

Due to the extreme sensitivity of the ALP heads this is no longer an issue. It was more important on older systems with longer heads. Not a critical factor with ALP although we still tend to give the same advise as @busta

I feel that as most vehicles taper back as you go laterally. With laser jammer heads having a receive (bubble) end and transmit end, I prefer that the bubble be more exposed than the transmit end.
