Leave a cam running if you can when in for service, you wouldn't believe the things that happen to customers' vehicles when left for repair. Unfortunately, most "techs" are actually parts swappers, if you're lucky the shop will have one actual technician that can diagnose problems...but then the repair is handed off to the parts swapper. Repair shops can't afford a shop full of real technicians.
Anyway, keep an eye on your ride, they get raced, used for lunch runs, etc, etc.

Update;
Today my ALP started powering off. I would turn it back on and it would stay on a while and power back off. It also seemed that when I would go into the menu or do anything it would power off almost immediately. I also got the check sensor and cables message for the 2nd time since the ford dealer incident.
Turns out I think I had a poor power connection. I have a feeling this has been getting worse all the time and may have been the cause of the error message all along
What do you guys think??
I fixed connection and it is running fine as of now. I believe what was happening is it had a poor connection so at any moment the heads may have not been getting enough power for a moment and then sent the error signal. I couldn't find another dedicated switched source in my fuse box to put everything in separate circuits. So what I did was just run my ground and hot through firewall into the engine compartment fuse box which does have an extra switched circuit.

That's the best thing about ALP in the USA, and that is BRD (Tom). He is always there to help you resolve any issues you can have. His support is SUPERIOR.. if anyone buys any ALP from anywhere else they would be crazy!!

To be fair, I know some people who are extremely RR loyal and gave me endless crap over buying something that RR hadn't recommended, only to praise me to be intelligent enough to buy the second coming of jesus once RR came around and recommended it.
I don't know how much BRD has been involved in any negotiations for AL to allow RR to sell ALP, but by all account I've seen BRD a straight shooter and a pro-consumer business owner.

Roy has a long track record of promoting that which makes him money and bashing that which doesn't. In fairness, he did out RMR as the fraud they are. Nevertheless, he doesn't have a lot of credibility with more knowledgeable enthusiasts, for good reason. However, BRD is in control of ALP in the USA, and is in the position to veto any action Roy might try to make which would bring discredit on or devalue the ALP. And BRD's track record speaks for itself.
Also: Roy sells many excellent products (Escort for example) and bashes others (Valentine). It's not bad because he sells it, or doesn't. Just get your information somewhere else.

I feel some may have missed the point of my prior post; some people come to RALF and blow smoke up BRD's ass, praising him on high, then turn around and say pretty much the opposite elsewhere. It's annoying, sometimes I comment on it.
