What to do with a 3rd head?

Was told that by a very reliable source. I'm adding a third head to the front of my car. No chrome up front, just more protection. VPR guns are everywhere where I live unfortunately. The city I live in uses them now almost exclusively.

Your install is more important than the number of heads. If you car is not large 2 heads will protect it sufficiently even against VPR guns.

That's what I thought. I have seen a lot of videos with 2 heads jamming VPR guns just fine. In fact, the only one I have seen with 3 on front was a truck.

The key with using 2 heads is to not place them on opposite sides of the car. (For example next to the head lights and leaving the center mass open) If the car is an average size car and your sensors are centered but around 18" to 20" or so apart you will be fine but if you have the sensors spaced 3ft apart you will get close PT's Use the photo's from past testings as a guide or if you have questions post up some photos and we will give you the best placement ideas.

PT: Punch Through (when they can acquire your speed)
JTG: Jam to GUN (never recommended except in testing scenarios)
JFG: Jam From Gun
JTK: Jam to Kill where you immediately reduce speed and kill jammers, allowing the lidar unit to get a speed reading (albeit reduced)

See, I would have completely misinterpreted that acronym outside of CMs.

Consulted the lidar chicks and they suggested to buy another & install on the rear of your vehicle. No issues with two headed set-ups for me.
