Thanks Tom - set mine to us the ALP GPS antenna instead of phone, but didn't take it for a test yet before the update (using hifi)

Just replaced my android phone and need to resync the ALP Connect software with the BT Module, I forgot the Bluetooth pin and unfortunately did not write it down. Is there anyway to find this out without opening my dash to read it off the sticker on the the Bluetooth Module.
I know, it was a stupid mistake.. but whats done is done...

I'm thinking Maybe using a BT Scan Utility or something similar ?

If not.. I'll break out the old Torx Driver and get to disassembling.

    Thanks in Advance...

YOu cant scan a PIN Number, The Pin Number is only on the back of your unit and it might even be on the white box that it came in if you still have that.

Hi, I love the ALP and the Android app, they have saved me so many times that I can't keep count anymore.

I'd like to report one small bug: when I walk away from my car and the app disconnects I get a "Disconnected!" notification that I can't dismiss by swiping. All other ALPConnect notifications can be dismissed, but not this one. I have to force stop the app to get it to go away.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

The reason it stays active and cant be stopped is because if you close it the app can not auto re-connect when you return to your vehicle. When leaving the vehicle just hit the back button and leave it active and when you return it will auto connect.

If you do this it will also not Auto Reconnect, It stays live to always search for a re-connection.

Oh, I though you said you killed the process. That would be a bad thing.

Ah gottcha, that would be bad. I just didnt like that i could not swipe the disconnected notification away. The bt module has been great. I just need a new one for ota updates at some point, but other than that its a rock solid ststem.
