Question, will the BT ALP connect app have full setup and menu functionality ...in the future?
I'm thinking either the BT or HiFi but not necessary to have both am I correct in thinking this?

I cant go into details on the future releases but the goal is to eliminate the ALP Update Site if you are running BT. We have been adding additional features to the Control Module and all those features will be in future releases of ALP Connect.

Awesome to see this finally become available, I have been waiting for it since i bought the system. Few questions:
Does the voice alerts notify front or rear for laser alert?
Does it read out the frequency of radar encounter?
What is the mounting system like for the speaker? Would it still be audible if it was mounted behind plastic trim panel?

For future when the display option comes out, would the whole set needs to be replaced again?

Voice alerts will tell you ahead or behind just like ALP Connect does now. We are testing frequencies but not sure if it will be included. We really only have a small amount of users less than 1% who utilize the radar integration. Maybe not at first but maybe in the future as the system is built to be expandable so nothing is set in stone. AntiLaser is also looking at more radar capabilities in the future but I can not go into details. Just know we are never satisfied and the system will only continue to get better. As for the speaker just like the Escort Speaker you will not want to cover it for clarity and loudness.
