Retail price difference on both systems at the moment on s dual is a whole $50-$150 depending if you are in the us or canada. Even if it were several hundred more you should consider what the future would bring and the costs involved if you decide you need the alp later. You are in canada and they use the dragoncams there and they shoot from the rear. I strongly suggest you re-think your plans.

Welcome to the forum. I only recommend the AL Priority for the following reasons:

    1. It is the only current laser jammer providing timely firmware updates to new LIDARS and new LIDAR firmware revisions.
    2. Smaller head size increases mounting options and enables you to have a significantly more visually appealing installation.
    3. options and expandability:
    a. Bluetooth and voice alerts through your Bluetooth enabled car stereo or external speaker. Visual alerts on phone. Alert logging.
    1. android
    2. Apple
    b. Radar detector integration. STiR+ currently. Others planned
    c. HIFI module. Due out by end of year.
    d. Other future options that haven't been publically disclosed.
    4. Ability to connect 5 heads to CPU.
    5. Most modern laser jamming system. The system itself is a full generation or more ahead of all its competition.
    6. Highest engineering and manufacturing standards.
    7. A reliable and honest US distributor, who offers excellent support.

ALP is definitely the "front runner". My biggest problem is finding anywhere to mount in on the Merc E350. The entire grill is attached to the front hood and moves up with it and there is no way I can see to install the ALP priority heads without cutting the grill (which is totally out of the question). How do I get access to the "advice on placement" forum?
