I know Tom has his doubts, but I trust that will be resolved in time and if we missed something, we're going to deal with it. But I am confident we're on solid footing...pictures don't lie.

I have my doubts Also, but let's look at best case scenario. 80 bucks for I don't know, several layers of applications? And considering I wash my truck often, how long will Veil truly stay on?? There are way to many questionable outlooks. Well I got to sleep this off now. Gotta get up for work in 5 hours.

Interestingly enough, I was recently looking into this. LEDs appear to have a long life expectancy. Would it not be feasible (and cheaper) to run them constant on?

Many police cruisers run with cams on that use IR. It would probably cause more harm than good running something like this all the time.

Before looking at an Escort Radar Detector you should really check out Uniden Detectors.. Uniden R1 & R3 are the best performing radar detectors for the money.

This is entirely something that needs to be tested in the future. We do not have any G5 so I do not know how it will look during the day and the evening.
The light strips would work well with the ALP because they could be powered from the ALP and only illuminated during an alert preferably from Camera alerts. Just thinking out of the box for future additions but I would not want them to go off if shot with regular laser.

what if they were also an additional head so when hit with regular laser they fire as a head would?

If you were protecting the rear you would already have heads back there. This would be primarily for those in MD with Poliscan issues and those international customers that have this issue. The ALP already does well against the Poliscan but blocking the plate during jamming would only add a little extra protection.

    IR License Plate Strips

That idea really sounds great. It would be cool of they can make it with some type of add on connecting with a splitter of some sort from a rear head already in place.
